The popular band, nominated for Most Memorable Brit's Performance of the last 30 years, were said to have decided against turning up at the event after organisers apparently refused to let them know if they won or not.

The girls were going to try and be there. But with their hectic schedules it"s a nightmare trying to get them in the same place at the same time, reveals a source.

Victoria Beckham would have flown in from New York Fashion Week and Mel C was going to get the night off Blood Brothers on the West End.

“But they were only willing to make it happen if it was worth all the effort and they won. But the Brits people refused to tell them either way, so they decided they"d be represented by a couple of them in case, but won"t make the effort to get them all together. It"s a real blow," The source says.
