The first book in Stieg Larsson"s Millennium Trilogy was made into a film in 2010 and in Larsson"s native country Sweden, but American film makers are planning on their own big budget version of the story.
As per further reports, David Fincher will direct the movie and actresses who have rumoured to be battling to take the main female lead are Natalie Portman, Kristen Stewart and Carey Mulligan. Portman has stated that, “ I really like the books but I have not been approached at all so any of that is pure rumour."
Portman who has admitted that she is a big fan of the book series but she insisted that she hasn"t been approached for the Hollywood remake.
