MTV Advised To Apologise To Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga
MTV chiefs have been forced to issue an apology after airing Lady Gaga's foul mouth tirade in the UK.

The singer resorted to swear words during her performance at the Isle of MTV music festival last year.

The channel broadcasted the event without editing the offensive words, thereby leaving an enraged group of executives at broadcast regulator Ofcom.

Bosses at Ofcom accused MTV of violating broadcasting guidelines with the explicit broadcast. They advised MTV to be more responsible and not to violate norms for the sake of higher TRP.

They said in a statement: "The most offensive language must not be broadcasted before the watershed."
