Kate Middleton And Prince William Under SAS Guard
The Royal bride and the groom of 2011, Prince William and Kate Middleton will reportedly be safeguarded by SAS snipers on their wedding day. According to Britain"s Daily Mirror, Kate Middleton and prince William who are all set to tie the knot in April next year will be under high security during their nuptial ceremony.
To counter-terror clampdown on the streets, the SAS snipers will go undercover and work alongside police officers. They"ll blend in with the crowds and man fixed observation posts on roofs and mobile units hidden in unmarked cars and vans. The experts will also identify vulnerable points along the wedding procession route, which is expected to attract tens of thousands of well wishers. Control of the streets will remain with senior Scotland Yard officers.
According to an insider, the special force operators and military specialists will be on task to ensure that there is enough safety from the terror attacks on the wedding day. The elite soldiers will join Afghan war veterans from the Special Reconnaissance Regiment to spot terror attacks and guard the big day.
Meanwhile, Kate Middleton is all set to be immortalized at the madame tassauds soon. The London wax sculpture museum has said that it will book a sitting with Prince William' Fiancee Kate Middleton, after her wedding on April 29. It is reported that the museum sculptors will then take nearly four months to make Kate Middleton's wax model.
