Kate Middleton Parents Royal Link Row
Kate Middleton parents "Party Pieces" firm risked a royal row for “cashing in" on the marriage of their daughter to Prince William. The family firm has reportedly quoted "every little girl dreams of being a princess" on their website.
According to sources, Kate Middleton's parents Carole and Michael Middleton have already been advised that their company should not profit from Kate's wedding to Prince William.
A courtier insisted: "The Royal Family is very keen to ensure that the wedding is not seen as a business opportunity for the Middletons and their associates."
But the website for their firm Party Pieces carried an article by children's nutrition author Annabel Karmel which appeared to highlight their royal connection.
A portion of the article read, "Every little girl dreams of being a princess - and there's nothing a princess likes more than throwing a party."
"Annabel Karmel has shared with us some great ideas and craft suggestions for throwing the most magical Christmas Angel party ever!"
Kate Middleton, who also works for the Party Pieces company, run by her parents is set to marry Prince William at Westminster Abbey on April 29.
