Angelina Jolie Is Most Admired Woman
With Angelina Jolie being extremely disappointed by the way her most hyped "The Tourist", starring Johnny Depp, bombed at the box office, here is something which can make her feel on top of the world. According to the new Gallup poll that came up with the list of most-admired men and women, Angelina Jolie is the only Hollywood actress among the top 10.
US president Barack Obama is voted as the most admired man in the nation for the third time and is ahead of presidents, religious leaders and other icons. Others who in the list of top 10 include Bill Clinton, Nelson Mandela, Pope Benedict XVI, former president Jimmy Carter, the Dalai Lama, the Reverend Billy Graham, Glenn Beck and Bill Gates.
Obama's secretary of state Hillary Clinton tops the ladies' list and is also the America"s most admired woman, consecutively for the ninth year. Sarah Palin, Oprah Winfrey, Michelle Obama, Condoleeza Rice and Queen Elizabeth falling in line after her. The former first lady slipped past 2012 presidential hopeful Sarah Palin and media mogul Oprah Winfrey. Overall, Hillary has topped the poll 15 times since 1992.
Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Queen Elizabeth, Margaret Thatcher, Laura Bush, Barbara Bush, Burmese democracy advocate Aung San Suu Kyi and Angelina Jolie comprise the top 10 most admired women. Lets hope the depressed Angelina Jolie, that she soon feels better and happy with the popularity ratings and her fans choice. Even Brad Pitt is hoping the same for you Angelina Jolie!
