Simon Cowell Tops The Forbes' List

Simon Cowell, judge on the 'American Idol Show' has been named the highest earning man on the prime-time US television by the Forbes magazine. Cowell is said to have earned 75 million dollars last year. The Forbes' list of top male earners on the prime time US television is based on estimated pre tax earnings from June 1, 2008 to 2009.

According to the list, Simon Cowell was followed by 'The Apprentice' host, Donald Trump with an earning of 50 million dollars. 'Idol' presenter, Ryan Seacrest with an earning of 38 million dollars comes third in the list. Charlie Sheen, the star of 'Two and a Half Men' and 'Office' star, Steve Carell with their earnings of 21 million dollars round off the to five.

The other five on the top 10 list are Howie Mandel (15 million dollars), Kiefer Sutherland (13 million dollars), Jeff Foxworthy (11 million dollars), Hugh Laurie (10 million dollars) and David Caruso (9 million dollars).
