Ludhiana Man Pushes 35 Quintals Bus!

Rakesh Sharma from Ludhiana did something unique to celebrate the Indian Independence Day. He pushed a bus, weighing 3,500 kilogram or 35 quintals, up to 10 feet using an iron rod on the eve of Independence Day (Aug.14). The iron rod was placed around his neck.

Rakesh Sharma attempted this daredevil act to earn a place in the record books. Earlier, a man in England created a world record by pushing a vehicle weighing 17 quintals. Rakesh Sharma wanted the name of his country to be on the top of the list.

After pushing the bus on Friday, Rakesh dedicated the feat to celebration of India"s 63rd Independence Day. Sharma already holds various records under his name in the Limca and Guinness Book of World Records. Previously, he had lifted a five-kilogram-weight attached to his eyes and had pulled a motorcycle with his ears.

Besides, his world record attempt, Rakesh has done 96 pushups with one hand within a minute and wants to build up a capacity of pulling heavier weights with just one ear.
