The new Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has been announced. The Hollywood heartthrob Orlando Bloom will preside this role now. The actor previously helped the non-governmental organisation raise awareness about children's rights around the world.

Orlando Bloom will be now joining likes of other celebrities such as Angelina Jolie and George Clooney in officially becoming a part of various United Nations causes. The actor looks forward to work with UNICEF as they continue to make the world a better place for children. He looks forward to learning more and to supporting UNICEF any way he can.
