Mirren, 64, will be presented with the trophy at the 19th annual Women in Film and Television Awards in London next month. Event organisers say Mirren will receive the honour for her outstanding and long lasting contributions to film and television.
Previous winners of the award include former Bond girl, Diana Rigg, multi Oscar-winner, Katharine Hepburn and Educating Rita star, Julie Walters.
