'Chicken Madras' Top Food In UK
Its the flavor 'India' this season. At a poll compiled by online takeaway site Just-Eat.co.uk, 'Chicken Madras' topped the list for the favourite dish and a healthy take away.

Chicken Madras is a spicy dish hailing from South India and is named after the cooking procedure that involves large amount of Chilli as an important ingredient, as reported by the Scotsman.

Third on the top list was another Indian dish 'rogan josh'. This dish is famous in India, where Rogan means butter in Persian and Josh means 'hot' or 'passionate'. The dish name thus, implies meat cooked in intense heat with butter. A tongue slurping aromatic dish.

Mugals introduced the dish to India, the warm climate of tropical India made the Mugals to take frequent trips to Kashmir, where the dish was first adopted as an Indian dish.

Other favourites in the list were Kebabs, pizza and Chinese takeaways. AGENCIES
