Other than being the tallest building in the world, the Bruj Dubai tower also the home address to the 'who's-who' of the rich and powerful, not to forget the glamorous. Reportedly the world famous infrastructure is going to be a home to the English football captain, David Beckham.

Beckham has his eyes set on the Armani-designed apartment, the representatives of the tower have approached the star. Already standing tallest in the world at the height of 780 meters, the Bruj is still under construction and all ready to soar even higher. It is also taller than the London's Canary Wharf tower, which is Britain's tallest skyscraper and is just 235m.

Beck will be able to move into the tower residence and by that time it would already reach the heights of 820m. It keeps getting all the more glamorous as the Italian fashion house , Armani will handle the designing of each of the 144 apartments.

Each apartment is twice as large as a regular UK family home, lavishing a space of almost 200 square metres in size. The Armani experts have taken the responsibility of making the apartments stylish and colorful, as per the choices of the respective customers.

The Beckham's own a villa at the Palm resorts in Dubai by the Nakheel Group, which is also erecting the Burj tower. David Beckham is touring the city of Dubai along with Italian giants AC Milan, for whom he plays, while the US team LA Galaxy are at the off-season.

The Beckhams are at their luxury villa at Palm Jumeirah complex , while the rest of the team reside at the luxurious Park Hyatt Hotel. Victoria Beckham and other AC Milan WAGs dined at a restaurant in the hotel on Saturday, while the football star had a "bonding meal" in a reserved suite. AGENCIES
