Teenage Schoolgirl To Wed 50 Yr Old Teacher
The saying love is blind really did turn out to be true for 16-year-old Jessica Anderson, for she's getting set to exchange wedding vows with her 50-year-old boyfriend Clive Richards.
Richards, a grey-haired father of two, left his third wife Julia for deputy head girl Anderson six months ago.
Anderson, a schoolgirl, set up house with Richards, a teacher, and is waiting to become his fourth wife, in September next year, when she turns 18.
"Despite common predictions we're still together and very happy," the Sun quoted him as saying.
"I am frustrated that everyone thinks I've been brainwashed. I have my own mind and this is what I want," Anderson added.
Richards said rumours that his child bride was pregnant were not true.
They moved in together with his 14-year-old son in the village of Goldsithney, Cornwall, near her parents, and he quit his job at Mounts Bay School in nearby Penzance.
Anderson's parents Frances and Phil plan to move as they "cannot bear" to live near the couple.
"We still cry about it all the time," Frances said.
