Russell Crowe to build sports stadium

Russell Crowe, the 'Gladiator' star is in talks to build a new sports stadium in Sydney, Australia. He is the co-owner of National Rugby League team the South Sydney Rabbitohs and is in preliminary talks with 'Without A Trace' star Anthony LaPaglia, (director and shareholder in the Sydney FC soccer team) to create a new sports ground in the city.

Anthony LaPaglia, 48,in the USA Today newspaper said, "Russell and I have been talking to each other about the possibility of joining forces to achieve this goal. He wants a stadium, I want a stadium, and we think together there is a possibility we might be able to pull it off. We would combine forces to have a home field, and training facilities. We're still trying to work out how to do it exactly, but there's a bunch of e-mails flying backwards and forth."

The two actors have been in talks for around four months about constructing a 25,000-seater stadium which both their respective teams could use.
