In the recently convened Swadeshi Jagaran Manch seminar at Tirupati SJM had voiced its concern as to how could the corporate houses owning these lands could be held responsible after having handed over the land. The question is yet to be Union as well as all the state governments planning to implement their SEZ plans. Interesting the only state government to have completely embargo SEZ is the Nitish Kumar run Bihar Government, which terms it as 'Insane"!
As per confirmed sources the following are approved but yet to be allocated projects in Karnataka:

Nandigudi

violates
the
existing
laws
which
states
land
where
multi-cropping
is
done
should
not
be
utilized
for
commercial
purposes.
However
there
is
a
much
of
confusion
over
the
issue
as
the
one
party
which
supports
the
SEZ
in
one
state
is
opposing
it
in
state
where
it
has
no
rule.

But
the
fate
of
1.43
lakhs
of
families
in
Nandigudi
is
still
unclear.
Is

turning
