Sanjay Dutt's Case Verdict Today?

Mumbai, Nov 23: Sanjay Dutt found guilty under Arms Act. He will be convicted for possessing three AK-56, its ammunition, 9 mm pistol, its cartridges and hand grenades. But he is acquitted off TADA and Criminal conspiracy. He may be taken under custody ater the court proceedings. Minimum punishment suspected upto 2 to 3 years.

The court found him guilty of charges framed under the Sections 3 and 7 read with Section 25 of the Arms Act. The court acquitted him of charges framed under Section 120-b of the Indian Penal Code (conspiracy) and Section 3 (3) of TADA.

Sanjay Dutt will be able to apply for bail after spending some weeks in jail.

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, summoned to appear today before the TADA court here which is likely to give verdict on his alleged role in the 1993 bomb blasts case, reached the designated court amid tight security arrangements.
