Reliance mobile pocket PC
Mumbai, Nov 9 (UNI) UTStarcom and Reliance Communications today announced the launch of India's first CDMA Windows Mobile 5.0 pocket PC- PPC 6700 ''Reliance Mobile Pocket PC''.
''The multi-functional service with data and video transmission capabilities of up to 144 kbps, with the average download speed ranging from 60-80 kbps, on high speed Reliance Communications network, is targeted at the enterprise segment and executives on the move'', Vijay Yadav of South Asia Operations at UTStarcom told reporters here.
''With the power and flexibility of new Windows Mobile 5.0 software platform and the speed of Reliance network, mobile information workers will now have the freedom to stay connected when and where they want'', Mr Yadav said.
Reliance Communications-Enterprise Business President and CEO Prakash Bajpai described Reliance Mobile Pocket PC as a major step to provide best and competitive services to harness technology for enhancing effectiveness.
''We are confident that enriched feature, easy-to-use applications and high speed download capabilities of the device would add significant value to the upwardly mobile customers on Reliance Communications network'', Mr Bajpai said.

business
applications
seamlessly
across
the
broadband
infrastructure
to
mobile
use.The
new
product
cost
is
around
Rs
33,000'',
he
said.
