The morale of the IT industry in the IT capital of the country is low and Bangalore is losing momentum to other states due to the lackadiasical attitude of the Karnataka Government in addressing infrastructural woes faced by the sector, giant Infosys Chief Financial Officer Mohandas Pai said today.
''Bangalore is losing out in terms of investment to other capital cities in the country in IT and ITeS sectors,'' he told newspersons here on the sidelines of a meeting of titans of the IT and semiconductor industries with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.
Mr Pai said that on the contrary, the Andhra Pradesh Government had rolled out all kinds of opportunities for setting up industries by putting the decision-making process on the fast track.
Expressing anguish over the attitude of some political leaders, he lamented that, ''people who matter in the industry are targetted for attack and public bashing in Karnataka
