Tips To Care For Your Pet Dog In Spring
The transition between the winter and spring requires a lot of attention to your pet dog. The spring season is one such tropical season where trees shed their leaves for the new ones. Likewise, even humans and animals will experience certain changes in their skin or hair. Animals which are domesticated needs to be given extra care during the spring season as the weather is not entirely cold or hot.
It is also important to note that during the changing season, many pets will fall sick due to various reasons. Diseases related to skin can be high due to the shedding of its hair and moisture due to excessive sweating. Hence taking care of your pet dog is very essential. Taking the dog to the veteran should be mandatory, especially when your dog is pregnant or has the tendency of falling sick often. Otherwise, some simple home care tips for the pets can be done to ensure good health and safety of the dog.

Tips to take care of your pet dog this spring:
Skin care
Skin care literally means that during this season, dogs tend to shed their hair. Though it is normal, care should be given as this season is an amalgamation of cold and warm weather. Hence, when it comes to skin care, dogs might get skin allergies due to excessive sweating or suffer from dryness. So make sure, you regularly brush your dog as it helps restore oils.
Paw Care
Paw care is essential in every season. Dogs are generally playful and tend to harm their paws in a melee. Even due to dryness in the weather, dogs tend to lose moisture in their nails and the possibility of chipping is high. Make sure that you moisturise the paws of your pet dog. Likewise, wash your dog's feet with soap after every walk.
Exercise
Exercise is very essential for dogs. As they are active animals, daily walking and exercise is a must. This activity keeps your pet dog more active during this season. Increase walks and runs in the park steadily, but gradually. And make sure you bathe them whenever required.
Allergies
With the changing season, we get infected with some allergies. Even dogs for that matter get spring time allergies too. One of the common allergy is the pollen allergy that is caused by the pollen from the first flowering trees. Also because it is a dry season, dust can also lead to an allergy for the dogs.
The spring season is considered to be one of the beautiful seasons. But at the same time, pets should be given extra care as the allergy level is high during this season.
