Stain is a scary word when it comes to doing laundry. And removing stains is no way going to be easy when you have school going kids. There are different kind of stains that you need to deal with.
Dye stains – caused naturally by plants and acidic foods, protein stains – caused by things that are organic and natural, and combination stains – caused by the combination of the other two stains.

Finding mud stain on uniforms is often a difficult situation for all mothers. But, this is a situation that we face quite often. Mud and dirt are inevitable stains of laundry and are a part of the protein stain.
Mud stains can be very difficult to handle, especially during the rainy season. Maintaining white clothes in school can be difficult because of mud stains, especially in rainy season.
The following are a few ways to maintain your clothes during the rainy season. You can use these methods to remove stains from uniform. Take a look.
Dry
off
the
dirt
If
the
stain
is
from
wet
mud,
allow
it
to
dry
off
completely.
Do
not
try
to
wipe
away
the
dirt.
This
will
only
spread
the
stain
and
mess
up
the
entire
shirt,
which
will
in
turn
move
into
the
fabric
fibres.
After
the
dirt
is
completely
dried,
either
vacuum
it
or
brush
it
off
carefully
without
trying
to
mix
it
into
the
fabric.
Use
a
small
brush
or
toothbrush
to
remove
stains
from
uniform.

Liquid
Detergent
The
next
thing
you
need
to
do
to
maintain
white
clothes
in
school
is
that
you
need
to
use
a
few
drops
of
liquid
detergent
on
the
stain.
Then,
rub
the
stain
with
your
thumb
and
index
finger.
Then,
add
a
few
drops
of
water
and
then
keep
rubbing
the
stain
in
a
circular
motion,
or
you
can
use
a
brush
or
toothbrush
to
rub
it
off.
This
process
needs
to
be
repeated
till
the
stain
is
completely
removed.
Fabric
Care
After
mud
is
dried
out,
it
is
usually
better
to
follow
the
instructions
of
the
fabric
care
guideline.
This
will
help
maintain
the
quality
of
your
shirt
while
you
are
trying
to
remove
the
stain.
Check
carefully
if
the
stains
are
removed.
If
they
are
not,
clean
it
again
with
a
washing
detergent
till
the
stain
is
completely
gone.
Do
not
let
the
clothes
dry
before
the
stain
is
removed
as
this
will
cause
the
stain
to
set
in.

Set
In
Stains
When
your
stain
is
already
set
in,
it
becomes
quite
difficult
to
clean
white
clothes.
To
remove
stains
that
have
set
in,
you
can
use
hand
washing.
You
can
clean
both
sides
of
the
clothing.
Use
a
brush
to
scrub
the
stain
from
the
clothing.
Allow
the
cleaner
to
set
in
for
about
an
hour
before
washing.
Stay relaxed! Try these tips next time when your kids come home with those creative mud art on their uniform.
