You must be dreading the approach of hot humid summers as the delicate layers of mist wears off around you. Don't get scared of those scorching nights on summer. Here are some cool tips to naturally keep your home breezy during summer.
Block the Heat
It is always better to take the precautions before the summer heat penetrating to your home. Here are some natural methods to block the heat.
Insulation in your attic will protect your home from excessive heat penetration in summer and cold penetration in winter. Invest in attic insulation for year-round comfort and efficiency.
;Your ventilation must be adequate to prevent heat buildup in summer and moisture buildup in winter.
You must keep your oven door tightly closed.
You can do a rethinking of your home colours before this summer approaches. A dark-colored home exterior absorbs 70% to 90% of the radiant energy from the sun that strikes the home's surfaces.
You can shade your home exteriors with trees, vines, shrubs or any other shade screens to reflect sun's rays.
