How To Organize Your Books Collection, 10 Effective Ways That Offer An Eye-Pleasing Look!
Got a lot of books? Or just starting to build up the book collection? No matter how many books you own, they are never enough if you are a bibliophile, isn't it? But, from a decor point of view, you must organize them in such a way that you don't have to find that one book out of the pile of disorganized books.
Books make a thoughtful decor accessory and deserve a special arrangement that helps enhance the aesthetics of your home, office, and other chosen spaces!

Guard these simple hacks to arrange the books in a neat and decor-enhancive manner:
1. Sort by Genre or Category
Make the groups of the books as per their genre or category. For example, form a separate section for fiction, non-fiction, science fiction, fantasy, biographies, romance, self-help, mystery, and more. It will make it easier for you to find books that match your mood and interest at a given time!
2. Alphabetical or Chronological Order
As the per genre or category, place books alphabetically by the author's last name. This common method allows for locating a specific book. Or, you can arrange the books of the same author or series in chronological order. It is especially useful for history books or series as per the specific reading order.
3. The Color Order
To form a visually appealing arrangement, organize the books by colour. This arrangement forms a unique and beautiful display but may make it difficult for you to find a special book when needed.
4. Place Books by Size
You can arrange the books as per size to form a visually appealing arrangement and it makes an easier hack to fit the books properly on the shelves or bookcases. You can feature a mix of hardcover and paperback books with this arrangement.
5. Frequent Access
The books you frequently read can be placed within an easy reach. Place them on a shelf at eye level. And the lesser-used books can be added on higher or lower shelves.

6. Invest in a Bookshelf or Shelves
Buy a bookshelf or add wall-mounted shelves, floating shelves, or built-in bookshelves to store your books systematically. Arrange the books according to book titles, sizes, colours, etc. to create an interesting shelf decor!
7. Add Bookends
Bookends not only serve a practical purpose but can also add drama to your bookshelves. These are useful for preventing books from falling over and forming a tidy appearance.
8. Maintain the Books
Review the books collection to sort the books you no longer require and donate or resell them. It will help free up the space for new books!
9. Add Personal Touch
Arrange your favourite books prominently on display to add a personal touch to your collection. The chosen books with interesting subjects and images can come in handy for a quick read, reference, or just display them as decor!
10. Cozy Reading Nook
For a dedicated reader, a reading nook is a must! Create one by the window or at a corner of your preference. Add a reading chair, lighting fixture (floor light, table lamp, or pendants), and shelves or a bookcase to place the books!
