5 Easy To Grow Aquarium Plants

Easy to grow aquarium plants:
Hornwort/coontail: It is a floating freshwater plant which grows very fast and covers the aquarium with its spreading leaves and stems. Hornwort is a rootless plant and good for the aquarium as it lowers the chances of algae to grow in the tank.
Moneywort/brahmi: This is another easy to grow aquarium plant. The hard stemmed moneywort thrives in any condition. Moneywort plants have bright green leaves which turns to lime coloured leaves under light. After cutting the spreading stems and leaves, the plant looks new again!
Cabomba: Also known as Carolina Fanwort, this easy to grow aquarium plant has feathery green leaves which compliments the beauty of the tank. Cabomba looks like a mini tree, an ideal aquarium plant to cover the background. Grow cabomba plants in a line to add to the look of tank.
Dwarf Hairgrass: It is an easy to grow aquarium plant to cover the bottom. This is a fast growing plant and thus require regular cutting to prevent the plant from spreading and keeping them in shape. As Dwarf Hairgrass belongs to amphibious species, the plant can grow and thrive in both fully or partially submersed tank. Provide partial light to the plants.
Copragrass/micro sword: This is an attractive bottom covering aquatic plant with long light green grass shaped leaves. The plant spreads out forming a thick carpet of grass in the base of the tank. A soft substrate rich in fertilizers makes the plant grow fast.
These are the easy to grow aquarium plants which add colour to the tank. These aquatic plants doesn't require much maintenance as they grow fast themselves.
