The smell of the flowers act like natural fresheners in the indoor and look refreshing in the outdoors. With little care the jasmine flowers can be good gardening plants or rather best shrubs. See what you can do to have beautiful Jasmines in your house with these simple tips.
Tips For Gardening Jasmines -
- Jasmine Types: The flowers are of different types so first the gardeners need to choose the flower variety. There are star jasmines that thrive well even with less water. So our advice would be to go for these flower types as they suit working professionals cum gardeners.
- Growing Condition: While gardening jasmines, one need to select the right place for the plant. Jasmine require good sunlight as well as little shade. Plant it in a place where it can spread comfortably.
- Planting Jasmine: Make a small pit hole (atleast six inches deep) and plant the shrub. Sprinkle some water and manure. If the soil in infertile, then add a layer of manure after you plant the shrub.
- Watering Process: The best time to water jasmines in during the night. Once the shrub grows to a good length, watring can be alternative days. All that one needs to care is that the soil needs to be damp all the time.
- Pruning Jasmines: Pruning is required as all the dry leaves, branches and twigs need to be cleared for the proper growth of the plant. Dry flowers can be used to make organic manure which can be used for other plants too.
- Maintenance: Pull out the all the weeds (unwanted plants) around the jasmine plant. This way, you will not be making the plant cry for resources.
