7 Easy Tips For Keeping Your Kitchen Clean And Impressive
The kitchen is the heart of every home! It is a hub where you prepare tasty dishes, prepare the grocery list, help the kids with their homework or gossip on the phone while doing chores. Overall it is an essential space or area in your home that needs your attention the most.
Keeping your kitchen clean and impressive needs commitment and shouldn't be a once-in-a-while duty. With some easy tips, you can keep your kitchen sorted all the time! Use these 7 easy tips for creating an impressive-looking kitchen:

Clean Kitchen Gives Motivation
A clean and sparkly kitchen is a sight to behold and appears inviting! It acts as a perfect motivation to cook in the kitchen and enjoy or excel in the art of cooking. Make sure to clean the cabinets, shelves, backsplashes, and sink thoroughly at least once a week. Aim to keep the kitchen tidy and organised. As per vastu, a clean kitchen gives a spiritual and positive outlook to your entire home!
Minimize the Use of Plastic
Most of us have the habit of collecting plastic in various forms. Plastic plates, glasses, spoons, etc that are not so healthy and eco-friendly, should be discarded from your kitchen. You can opt for BPA-free plastic plates, bottles, containers, and more. Give the old plastic stuff in your kitchen for repurposes.
Clean Up Spills Immediately
Spills and stains are common occurrences in the kitchen. The kitchen backsplashes, cabinets, platforms, and flooring mostly bears these spice full stains. Make a habit of cleaning the spills and stains immediately with water or kitchen cleaner liquid. If you don't wipe it off immediately then it can make a permanent feature in your kitchen, especially the turmeric stains.
Have a Trash Bowl Handy
When preparing food, vegetable waste, fruit peels, shells, scraped portions, plastic or paper wraps, etc often gets piled up on a platform. Many a time it happens that it remains there the entire day till you clean it up. The same can lead to inviting tiny insects, flies, cockroaches and more such uninvited pests. That's why keep the trash bowl or waste bag handy when you are cooking your favourite dish. It helps keep the kitchen platform and floor clean and tidy!

Dedicate Space For Everything
If you are someone who always ends up storing kitchen essentials wherever you see an empty space then it is better to let of this disorganised habit. Dedicate or reserve shelves or cabinets for each of the things that are important to set up a functioning kitchen. For example, your tea, coffee, sugar, and spice jars should be kept handy near the stove. Hand the mugs near the sink or place them on the mug holder. Pulses, grains, dry fruits, etc can be stored in air-lock containers and placed in cabinets.
Dedicate a space to keep the kitchen pots and pans that come in handy whenever you need them. Make sure to keep them back in a similar space after the usage so that you don't have to look for them here and there!
Keep it Minimal and Sorted
If you love to cook and look forward to buying at least one kitchen utensil or kitchen utility when out shopping, then it is better to curb your over-enthusiasm sometimes. Avoid buying utensils or gadgets that you already own or are in good working condition. Store kitchen essentials like vessels, utensils, plates, food items, pantry items, etc on the shelves and cabinets in a systematic and sorted manner. Aim for a minimalistic and eye-soothing outlook for your kitchen!
