At its core, sexy water is about enhancing the water-drinking experience. Mae's recipe often includes a blend of powders, minerals, and lemon served in an aesthetically pleasing cup with a straw. However, she emphasizes that sexy water doesn't need to be complicated. Simple additions like ice and lemon can suffice, underlining the message: the importance of staying hydrated.
Mae's sexy water concoctions can vary, but one notable mixture features water enriched with vitamin C, electrolytes, magnesium, colostrum, collagen peptides, and mushroom multivitamin drops. She believes that this hydration ritual is a key part of feeling organized and in control of one's life, highlighting the importance of custom cups as part of the experience.

Dr. Isaac Dapkins, chief medical officer at the Family Health Centers at NYU Langone, warns about the dangers of diluting these essential minerals through excessive water intake.
