Cure Congestion With These 3 Yoga Poses During Winter
If you want to get rid of congestion then you should try out a few yoga asanas that are explained in this article.
For some people, winters are like seeking excuse from everything you do because you face multiple problems like pain in the legs, headache, sinus and congestion.
Only the wearer knows about the shoe bite - means the one who is suffering from the problem tends to seek the solution. So readers, pull up your socks and seek an easy solution to your problem, by not visiting your doctor, but by doing easy Yoga, which is helpful in curing other hidden problems as well and that too, without any side effects.

You must begin performing yoga from the basic instead of just imitating someone and try to attain perfection. Congestion becomes really troublesome for those who face it quite often, which leads to frequent coughing and sneezing, which is, of course, really embarrassing publicly.
Here are 3 easy yoga poses which help to cure congestion during winters. Initially, when you are facing the problem, it might be tough for you to breathe. But don't give up. Do it gradually.

1. Bridge Pose: Not very tough to perform, this pose helps you to open your chest apart from sending fresh blood to your head.
How
to
perform
this
pose:
•
Foremost
thing
is
to
sit
comfortably,
preferably
on
a
mat.
Then
lie
down
straight.
Inhale
and
exhale
casually
for
a
few
seconds.
•
Bend
your
knees,
while
keeping
your
feet
flat
on
the
floor.
Make
sure
that
your
knees
are
hips-distance
apart.
•
Now,
balancing
on
your
head,
lift
your
pelvic
portion
upwards,
making
sure
your
knees
are
directly
over
your
heels.
The
distance
between
your
shoulders
and
feet
should
be
such
that
your
fingertips
should
graze
the
back
of
your
feet.
•
Raise
your
hips
towards
the
ceiling,
keeping
your
thighs
strong
and
rise
as
high
as
you
can.
•
Don't
look
here
and
there
while
performing
this
pose
and
just
concentrate
on
your
position.
Even
a
minute
of
negligence
can
be
harmful
for
your
neck.
•
Count
till
20
when
you
are
in
the
pose.
•
Now,
release
your
clasped
hands
and
gradually
get
your
body
down.
Now
keep
your
legs
straight
and
lie
down
for
a
few
seconds
in
the
normal
position.

2. Camel Pose: This pose helps to clear your passageways by opening your back and chest. Don't over exert yourself for any pose. Start with placing your hands on your lower back and fingers pointing down. Bend as backwards as you can till you feel stretched. Don't play with your back because you can't be flexible from day 1.
How
to
perform
this
pose:
•
Sit
normally
and
bend
your
knees,
keeping
your
knees
under
your
hips.
Now,
the
most
important
thing
is,
your
shins,
ankles
and
feet
should
be
parallel
to
one
another.
•
Arch
back
a
bit,
putting
your
hands
on
your
hips.
•
Now,
let
your
right
hand
touch
your
right
heel,
and
same
with
left
hand.
Your
hands
should
be
firm
for
balancing
and,
of
course,
don't
put
the
entire
weight
on
them.
•
Lower
your
head
and
count
till
10
or
plus
minus
-
whatever
suits
you.
•
Get
back
to
your
normal
position
and
sit
on
your
heels.

3. Plow Pose: This pose should be your last option, as you need to do it with the earlier poses as mentioned above, reason being proper breathing. Be comfortable and then perform this pose.
How
to
perform
this
pose:
•
Lay
down
flat
on
your
back
on
your
mat
and
place
your
arms
by
your
sides
with
your
palms
down.
•
Press
your
palms
firmly
while
bending
your
knees,
by
getting
both
legs
over
your
head.
This
is
for
the
beginners.
Practice
this
pose
for
a
while
and
then
perform
it
further.
Now,
while
straightening
your
knees,
touch
your
toes
to
the
ground.
•
Keep
your
head
and
neck
straight.
•
Get
your
hips
over
your
shoulders
and
stretch
your
spine
as
much
as
you
can.
Females
who
have
heavy
breasts
may
find
it
difficult
to
perform
this
pose.
Do
it
slowly.
•
Count
till
5
initially
and
then
increase
your
time.
Now,
get
back
to
normal
position,
by
slowly
shifting
your
hips
on
the
ground.
The utmost important thing to understand here is, you must follow these poses one by one. Don't under-estimate yourself and don't imitate others. Relax and enjoy yoga and get away with your winter congestion problem.
