This Can Make Your Healthiest Food Harmful For Health
We purchase healthy foods to ensure a good health; however, did you know that the process of cooking our foods can make them harmful for our health?
The cookware in which we cook the food can render our food harmful for our health. The chemicals used in the coating and manufacturing of these cookwares can pose a serious health risk to us.
Nowadays, we all are using non-stick pans to make anything from omelet to cooking curry in it and other things. However, do you know that the non-stick coating can cause many diseases including tumours?
The chemical substance present in a non-stick cookware goes into the food that you are cooking in it. The heat used to cook the food causes the release of some poisonous substances from the cookware into the food. Hence, it is advisable to cook the food on low heat if you are using a using a non-stick cookware.
Likewise, certain other cooking vessels can make you sick, as the toxic metals used in the manufacturing of the cookware can leach into the food. In this way, our healthy food can be easily converted into an unhealthy one.
Therefore, have a look at the cookwares that are harmful for your health, and avoid cooking in them. Here, in this article, we have also mentioned some of the safe alternatives for cooking. Have a look:

Non-stick Pan
Cooking in a non-stick pan is very harmful for your health. The coating present in a non-stick pan is made from a substance known as perfluorooctanoic acid. When the pan is heated, this substance goes into the food and enters the body. It is known to cause tumours.

Safe Alternative: Cast Iron
Cast iron vessels are a safe alternative to use instead of the non-stick cookwares. It also provides you with nutrients, such as iron, that enters the food and your body thereby gets the iron from it. Hence, you must replace your non-stick pans with cast iron pans.

Copper Vessels
Copper and nickel vessels can be harmful for you. When the copper and nickel vessels are heated together they produce many toxins that enter the food and then the body.

Safe Alternative: Stainless Steel
Stainless steel can be a safe alternative to use instead of copper vessels. You must make sure that it is free for nickel. Stainless steel vessels distribute heat evenly, so they also require less heat during the cooking process.

Aluminium
We may prepare tea in aluminium vessels. They must be avoided for a long cooking process, as they may leach excess aluminium into the food and pose a risk of Alzheimer's disease. They are; however, less toxic then a non-stick cookware.

Safe Alternative: Ceramic
Ceramic, also known as bone china, is safer for your health. The cups and other vessels made from ceramic do not pose any health issues. You can make tea in your ceramic cup in a microwave oven as well.
