Signs Of An Early Menopause
Menopause is the final stoppage of the menstrual bleeding and cycles. It marks the end of a woman's reproductive life. Menopause happens to women in their 40s or 50s. But you would be shocked to know that many women are hitting their menopause as early as their twenties these days. Due to work pressure and stress, many women are having a very early menopause these days.
Your twenties are supposed to be prime of your reproductive phase and imagine the horror of some women when they notice symptoms of menopause during this time. Some of these women are not even married when they start experiences signs of an early menopause. These women who are hitting early menopause come from all walks of life. Just one thing is common among them, they are urbane and working in stressful jobs. That relates an early menopause directly to stress.
When you are in your twenties, you are not expecting symptoms of menopause. As you are not prepared for an early menopause, you may not even be able to identify the signs. But if the signs of early menopause are identified quickly, you can still go for hormone therapy to extend your reproductive life.
Here are some of the most obvious signs of an early menopause.

Vaginal Dryness
When you are at the prime of your hormonal cycles, your vagina is always supposed to be well lubricated. But if your vagina is dry for an extended period of time, it could mean you are nearing menopause.

Hot Flashes
Hot flashes are the most common sign of a menopause. If you are still in your twenties and feel like your ears are on fire, you need to see a doctor.

Mood Swings
Many women experience distinct change in their moods where they feel irritable, lost and melancholy. They also feel depressed and have suicidal thoughts sometimes.

Change In Sleep Patterns
Some women complain that they are not able to sleep well due to depression or hormonal turmoil. This sleep pattern changes affects their mood, work productivity and also personal relationships.

Lower Sex Drive
In your 20s and 30s, your sex drive should be at its peak. But if you have been avoiding sex and making excuses to distract your partner, then you need to get your hormone levels checked.

Irregular Periods
When menstrual cycle becomes irregular all of a sudden, you need to consult a doctor. Irregular period is conclusive proof of an early menopause.

Low Levels Of Calcium
When the levels of estrogen is reduced in the body, your bones start losing calcium. So if you are having joint ache or weak bones, then it could mean that menopause is near for you.

Palpitations
Female reproductive hormones protect the heart from damage. When your menopause is near, it will start affecting your heart health. Palpitations are a sign of heart problems to come.

Infertility
If your hormonal levels and periods become irregular, you will have a tough time conceiving. Infertility is common among women who are nearing early menopause.
