We know that fatty and fried foods are fattening. That is why, it is always advised to have healthy and nutritious foods in your diet. They are healthy and good for the body. However, even healthy foods can be fattening.
Well, there are few healthy foods that can be good for the health but can make you fat! Some foods have the reputation or tag to be considered healthy but fattening. Foods like sushi rolls, white rice, white bread, cheese, milk, yogurt are healthy for the body as they are packed with several nutrients and vitamins. However, these healthy foods are fattening. Healthy foods that can make you fat:

Sushi rolls
Sushi rolls can help you lose weight only if you pick up the right one. Sushi rolls that are topped with cheese or mayonnaise can be really fattening and difficult to digest.

White rice
Rice has numerous health and nutritional benefits. However, this healthy food can be fattening. That is why, prefer brown rice as it is low in calories and starch.

Idli
The Indian cake that is prepared with rice batter and steamed looks very low in calories. However, idlis are heavy on the stomach as it is difficult to break down the rice particles. Rava or ragi idli are healthier options as these foods are not that fattening and healthy too.

Wraps
Chicken or paneer wraps are also coated with lots of mayo or cheese. Moreover, most of the wraps are prepared with all-purpose flour that is fattening and unhealthy.

Cheese
If you do not pick up low fat and healthy cheese, you would end up gaining lots of weight. Cheese is rich in calcium but, this healthy food can make you fat. So, pick up the healthy low fat cottage cheese.

Fruit flavoured yogurt
Yogurt is one of the superfoods that has ample amount of health benefits. To make it healthy and not fattening food, prefer low fat unsweetened or unflavoured yogurt.

Bread
We all are habituated to include bread in our diet. But, white bread is fattening as it is very slow on digestion.

Granola
This cereal tastes sweet and crisp. A bowl of granola has 500 calories. Although it is rich in proteins, granola can make you fat.

Caesar salad
Salad are said to be very healthy and low in cals. However, few salad like caesar's salad can make you fat. This salad becomes a high cal food due to the creamy dressings.

Banana
If consumed in right amounts, bananas can't make you fat. However, if you eat more than 3 bananas a day, this healthy food can definitely make you fat.

Mangoes
Although mangoes are stuffed with vitamins and proteins, it can be fattening if consumed carelessly. Mangoes are low in calories but, if the intake of the fruit is very high, it can make you fat.

Dried fruits
Although this healthy food is packed with nutrients and vitamins, dried fruits have a high concentration of calories and sugar that are fattening.
