Swelling, Bruising: after the surgery, you might find heavy swelling, bruising and discoloration in the treated are. It is not very dangerous as they are temporary and will fade away in few days or weeks depending on the recovery. However, medications recommended by doctors can bring relief.
Dimpling: this is an indentation or a dimple and this side effect can only appear if the doctor doesn't remove the fat deposits in equal amounts from all the sides of the treated area. This side effect is very uncommon due to the experienced doctors and technological advancements. If some dimpling is located then the doctor will fix it by repeating the procedure on the left out area. The revision procedure of treating dimpling can be done in the form of non surgical liposuction so as to save you from a long recovery period.
Severe complications related to the surgery is rare but it is important to know the unexpected effects like adverse effect to anesthesia, cardiac arrest, internal blood clots, excessive bleeding, allergic reactions to medication, seizures, brain damage from anesthesia
So, these are the minimal side effects which are temporary and can be cured but it is advisable to consult your doctor if you are planning to get the liposuction surgery and be prepared to face it. Experienced doctors use modern techniques to provide astonishing results and provide satisfaction to their patients.
