Nuts To Lower Cholesterol

Nuts are rich with plant proteins, dietary fiber, minerals, vitamins and other compounds like phytoesterols and phytonutrients. These components will help to modify the blood lipoprotein levels and lower the blood cholesterol levels, which is the best treatment method to prevent coronary heart diseases.
Nuts are rich with mono unsaturated and poly unsaturated fats, which are highly helpful to reduce the bad cholesterol or LDL.
Nuts like almonds, hazelnuts, cashews and walnuts are also rich with antioxidants including selenium and Vitamin E, which enhance the weight loss. Antioxidants provide the body with the nutritional support and makes it energized during the fat burning process. It reduces the stress of the body and keeps the metabolism high as possible.
Nuts are satiating - they keep us feeling 'fed' and it is another strategy for weight loss. Enjoy nuts instead of snacks between the main courses and stay healthy.
Don't forget, anything over is not good for health. So limit the intake to 1 to 2 ounce of nuts per day, advice the health experts.
