Quit Smoking With Nicotine Replacement Products

There are two products – one, in form of a powder packed in small sachets and the other in form of a spray. Smokers who are willing to quit will have to keep the powder them in their mouth, allowing nicotine - the addictive ingredient in tobacco - to be rapidly released.
The Zonnic nicotine mouth spray should be used every time the smoker has the desire to light up.
"The new Zonnic nicotine mouth spray is a good option for those who want to quit smoking but haven't been able to do so," says Otago University researchers, Brent Caldwell.
The new study is looking for 1600 volunteers who are willing to take part in a trial to test the effectiveness of Zonnic mouth spray. These are to be initially used in addition to the nicotine patches. Participants will also be given regular counseling to help them quit smoking.
