An American cardiologist confirms that processed foods can have ill effect on taste buds apart from heart disorders and waistline.
February being American Heart Month, Saint Louis University cardiologist Melda Dolan, has called upon the SLU community to give their kitchen a heart-healthy makeover.
Dolan said,“Maintaining a heart-healthy diet is easier than you might think, but it does require a life-style change.Once you learn how to shop for and cook with fresh ingredients, you"ll see that it"s easy to do."

1.Say goodbye to processed foods such as frozen meals and canned goods. They are high in sodium and simple carbohydrates, which can lead to obesity.
2.Use fresh herbs to add flavor to your cooking rather than salt.
4.Replace butter with olive and vegetable oil, to make food less fatty
5.Quit frying your foods. Eat more of vegetables.

chicken
into
your
diet.
These

in

fish

which
