An article was written on behalf of the joint task force of ASN, the Institute of Food Technologists, and the International Food Information Council by the American Society for Nutrition (ASN) President James O. Hill, PhD.

Various small steps like taking stairs instead of elevators, walking an extra mile, reducing food intake by 5 percent, replacing sweetened beverage with non-caloric beverage and having a nutritious healthy breakfast can help weight related problems.
