Kalakand Recipe For Diabetic People; It Is Sugar-Free & Keto-Friendly
To make this guilt-free Diwali treat, you'll need the following ingredients:
- 1 cup full-fat paneer
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup stevia or erythritol
- 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- A pinch of cardamom powder
- A handful of chopped nuts for garnish (like almonds, pistachios, or walnuts)
Step 1: Prepare the paneer base
- Take the paneer and crumble it into a smooth texture.
Step 2: Mix in the goodness
- In a separate bowl, blend the almond flour, stevia or erythritol, almond milk, and cardamom powder until it forms a smooth paste.

Step 3: Combine and cook
- Now, mix the almond paste into the crumbled paneer, and blend well.
- Cook the mixture on low heat, stirring continuously, until it thickens. This should take about 10-15 minutes.
Step 4: Shape and garnish
- Once the mixture thickens and starts leaving the sides of the pan, pour it into a greased plate and flatten it.
- Sprinkle the chopped nuts on top and gently press them into the Kalakand.

Step 5: Cool and cut
- Allow the Kalakand to cool and set for a few hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
