3 Supplements That Prevent UTI
This article talks about three supplements that prevent the occurrence of urinary tract infections.
A urinary tract in a human body is the system that creates urine as well as takes it out from the body. The system comprises the kidneys, connecting tubes as well as the bladder. When germs get into this system then it might get contaminated, giving rise to urinary tract infection. Here we shall discuss three supplements that prevent urinary tract infection.
The most typical type of urinary tract infection is the urinary bladder infection. While a urinary bladder infection is not a really major hazard to the human body, if left untreated for a long time it can spread to the kidneys, which makes them susceptible to a long-term and serious damage.

Generally, the germs go into the urinary tract through the urethra, which is a pipe that carries urine outside the body from the bladder. Females usually are more predisposed towards urinary tract infection in contrast to males since their urethra is shorter than the latter.
A few of the most typical signs of urinary tract infection include blood in the urine, painful as well as frequent urination, lower abdomen pain and distress, pelvis pressure, etc. The goals of urinary tract infection treatment include eradication of the infections, avoidance of recurrence, and deterrence of severe medical problems like harm to kidneys and sepsis.

There are three supplements which when taken on a regular basis are shown to prevent urinary tract infections. Probiotics are the first one. These are healthy bacteria present in the gut that keep the gut healthy and prevent bladder infections. These can be taken as supplements or consumed naturally in the form of yogurt, kefir, etc.
Cranberry supplements can prevent urinary tract infections. These contain A-type proanthocyanidin (PAC) which helps to stop bacteria from infecting the bloodstream by forming a type of coating inside the bladder. You can consume cranberry juice as well but be careful not to overdo it as it might cause the formation of kidney stones.
The last supplement that prevents urinary tract infections is a natural sugar glucose known as D-mannose. It works the same way as cranberry supplements work.
