Climatic Change And Its Ill Effects
The carbon dioxide emission in the atmosphere is the major source of global warming and it enhances the greenhouse effect as well.
During the pre-industrial time, the carbon dioxide gas was mainly emitted from the respiratory tracts of animals, from volcanic eruptions, decomposition of dead material, burning and forest fires.
However, today, burning of fossil fuels, exhaust of fumes from rapid urbanisation, increase in the density of pollution, deforestation and intense animal agriculture can also lead to the rapid emission of carbon dioxide gas.

The dramatic change in the global atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration coincides with the start of the industrial revolution in the mid 1800s, when burning of large quantities of fossil fuels became a prominent feature in the global climate.
The increase in carbon dioxide in the atmosphere can prolong the flowery season and increase the allergic season from pollens.
In addition, new plants can emerge by global warming and contribute to new allergies.
The global warming effect also produces stress on plants, which can lead to the production of potent pollens and diesel particles that are coated with these potent pollens, which is 50 times more potent and produce stronger and prolonged symptoms.

One of the major effects of climatic change is sleep disorder. The sleep disordered breathing can increase and inadequate sleep can result in mood changes.
It can also lead to depression, shorter attention span, poor concentration, daytime sleepiness, frustration while sleeping, etc, wherein you'll feel dependent on caffeine and also on alcohol abuse.
Blood pressure and heart rate are higher following sleep-deprived nights.
We have observed about 8% of the children having sleep disordered breathing problem and 1.05% of the children having obstructive sleep apnoea syndrome (OSAS).

We have observed that pre-school children suffer more from climatic change-related diseases in India. The most common cause for this kind of a health issue is due to asthma, allergic rhinitis and adenoidal hypertrophy.
Apart from children, even the women are affected by climatic changes. Women who have less than 5 hours of sleep have about 30% increase in the chances of developing a heart disease.
Along with this, sleep deprivation also leads to insulin resistance and thereby leads to increase in the diabetic cases among people.
Therefore, management of the existing harmful pollution level is the single best way to reduce the burden of these diseases arising due to climatic change.
