Ayurvedic Remedies To Treat Warts
Wart is a non-malignant growth that appears on the skin. Warts are generally harmless and occur on the feet, face, hands and other parts of the body.
HPV is the cause behind warts; and if it is left untreated, it can spread to the other parts of the body too.
Warts are a thick rough in texture and are caused by the formation of hard proteins.

Warts can be spread through a close skin contact, by sharing towels, shoes or clothes of the affected person.
Generally, warts do not require any treatment and go away on their own in a few months; but if the treatment is required, you should consider herbal remedies prescribed by Ayurvedic experts.

Warts can be of different types such as:
Common warts: They appear on fingers, toes, elbows or knees and are generally greyish or brownish in colour.
Flat warts: They generally appear in groups and are commonly found on the arms and face.
Plantar warts: This kind of warts grow inside the skin, unlike other types of warts that seem to grow outside the skin. They are found on the sole of the feet and cause a great pain while walking to the person affected by it.
Periungual warts: Periungual warts are a condition in which warts grow outside or under the nails. Both fingernails and toenails can be affected by it.
In Ayurveda, the condition is referred to as Charmakeela. Ayurveda has various herbs and remedies that can help to cure the pesky warts. Here’s a look at some of them.
