5 Signs That You Have OCD
OCD or Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is an anxiety disorder which is a very strange one. It is characterised by an uncontrollable, unwanted and repetitive behaviours that a person is compelled to perform for no good reason. Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is something which causes your brain to get stuck on a particular thought, and the worst part is that you will find no reason in doing so.
The signs you have OCD are very clear, they are right there for you to see. If you are suffering from OCD, then you will find yourself checking the lock on your door five times, brushing your bed even when there is not a grain of dust on it, and washing your hands repeatedly until they are red and raw. There is every possibility that people find you weird and crazy, some may go to the length of calling you a lunatic too. But how do you know for sure that you have OCD? It could after all be something that people do in their daily lives. Here is the ocd symptoms list.

Hand
Washing
A
major
OCD
symptom
is
hand
washing,
and
no,
it
is
not
just
about
cleanliness.
People
who
are
washing
their
hands
day
and
night
are
a
widely
accepted
category
of
OCD
patients.
We
find
a
lot
of
them.
The
fear
here
is
germs
and
to
remove
the
germs
and
stay
clean,
you
will
wash
your
hands
almost
10
times
a
day.
This
is
not
good,
and
you
certainly
have
OCD.
Over-the-Top
Cleaning
Cleanliness
is
definitely
next
to
godliness
but
you
clean
up
so
often
that
you
should
already
be
seated
beside
the
Almighty.
People
who
like
to
keep
things
clean
are
sane,
but
those
with
OCD
about
cleanliness
are
simply
insane.
They
will
wipe
away
the
table
surface
even
when
it
is
sparkling
brightly.
There
is
always
an
urgent
urge
to
clean
all
the
day
and
you
are
obsessed
about
it!
You
definitely
do
have
OCD!
Checking
on
Things
The
lights
that
you
just
put
off
are
definitely
off,
but
you
need
to
tamper
with
the
switch
until
you
are
satisfied
with
the
results.
Now
that
is
crazy.
There
are
many
forms
of
OCD
symptoms
and
this
one
is
a
classic
example.
You
will
also
return
three
to
four
times
to
the
kitchen
to
check
whether
the
gas
cylinder
is
off,
you
will
also
head
to
your
main
door
to
see
if
it
is
nicely
locked.
Checking
arises
from
fear
again,
and
most
times,
it
is
the
fear
of
getting
hurt,
or
feelings
of
irresponsibility.
Counting
All
the
Time
There
are
some
very
tell
tale
signs
that
you
have
OCD,
and
one
of
them
is
counting.
Yes,
you
will
count
everything
that
is
countable,
and
will
also
secretly
give
the
stars
in
the
night
a
try.
Such
people
count
according
to
a
certain
numeric
pattern
or
even
count
to
themselves.
This
can
rise
from
certain
belief
that
even
numbers
are
lucky
while
odd
numbers
are
not.
Extremely
Organised
You
will
also
see
people
who
are
terribly
organised,
and
they
will
leave
no
stone
unturned
to
keep
everything
at
the
right
place.
Starting
from
their
cupboard
to
their
book
shelf,
nothing
can
ever
go
out
of
order.
You
will
never
find
anything
amiss
or
untidy
at
their
homes!
It is never too late to work on your anxieties, and therefore you have to start thinking rationally. You need to think that your thoughts of OCD are in fact all created by your mind and you will only be able to get past them if you start thinking rationally. Practice meditation.
