Signs You Have Internal Bleeding
Internal
bleeding
is
when
bleeding
takes
place
inside
the
body,
instead
of
bleeding
which
can
be
seen
outside
the
body.
The
internal
bleeding
often
occurs
within
tissues,
organs,
or
in
cavities
of
the
body.
These
include
the
head,
chest,
and
abdomen.
A
few
examples
of
other
potential
sites
of
internal
bleeding
includes
the
eye
and
within
tissues
that
line
the
heart,
muscles,
and
joints.
Internal bleeding is rather difficult to identify or pinpoint. This is because internal bleeding will not be evident until many hours after it starts and more importantly, symptoms may only take place when there is considerable blood loss or if the blood clot is big enough to compress an organ and affects the proper functioning of the organ. Here are some signs that will help you know if you have internal bleeding.

1.
Internal
bleeding
in
any
site
within
the
urinary
tract
from
the
bladder
to
the
kidney
might
result
in
blood
in
your
urine.
2.
In
the
case
of
gastrointestinal
bleeding,
your
vomit
may
be
bright
red
blood.
If
the
vomit
has
been
in
the
stomach
for
a
long
duration
of
time,
the
vomit
may
look
like
coffee
grounds.
3.
Depending
on
the
location
of
the
gastrointestinal
tract,
bowel
movements
may
be
bloody
in
some
cases
or
black
and
tarry
in
others.
4.
If
the
amount
of
blood
loss
is
considerable,
you
may
feel
weak,
lightheaded
and
short
of
breath.
5.
Internal
bleeding
might
cause
blood
to
spill
into
the
peritoneum.
This
means
that
you
will
experience
a
significant
amount
of
pain
with
any
movement.
The
abdomen
may
become
tense
and
feel
hard
or
rigid
to
touch.
6.
Internal
bleeding
might
cause
you
to
display
symptoms
of
shock
or
low
blood
pressure.
7.
Intense
pain
in
your
muscles

be
a
symptom
of
internal
bleeding
which
occur
deep
within
the
muscle

suffering
an
injury.
8.
Another
symptom
of
internal
bleeding
from
muscle
injury
is
that
you
feel
a
difficulty
in
moving
the
joints
under
the
injury.
9.
Muscle
injury

causes
internal
bleeding
can
be
because
of
a
broken
bone
and
is
characterised
by
a
loss
of
sensation
in
the
injured
area.
10.
A
large
amount
of
intense
pain
and
loss
of
range
of
motion
may
result
from
internal
bleeding
in
the
joints.
11.
A
large
area
of
deeply
purple
or
bruised
skin
called
ecchymosis
may
be
the
result
from
bleeding
into
the
skin
and
soft
tissues.
12.

and

the
thigh
bone
