Kareena Kapoor Khan's Diet Is Perfect For Every Woman Over 40; Check It Out
It is no secret that Kareena Kapoor Khan takes fitness and wellness seriously - very seriously, in fact. She embraces every phase of her body, from size zero to postpartum, and frequently shares her healthy lifestyle with her fans.
Bebo believes in a balanced approach to health as a result of all those extremes.

In her posts, the mother-of-two stressed the importance of consuming nutritious foods and appreciating your body rather than rushing the process of weight loss, as well as the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle.
According to celebrity nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar, Bebo's food habits are well known. She has shared tips Kareena has been following all this time in her audiobook 'Eating in the Age of Dieting' - available on Audible - for achieving the 'zero size' figure.
Let's take a look.
NOTE: Aiming for the "zero size" aesthetic is far from healthy, as it will result in health issues related to being underweight and deplete the body's energy supply. It is not uncommon for people who are depriving themselves of nutritious food to obliviously aim for a zero-size figure without realizing that being underweight has numerous side effects [1].
Several experts have stated that the process of achieving a size zero figure can lead to eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia [2].
Kareena Kapoor Khan's Diet
1. An energy-packed breakfast to kick-start your day
In order to maximize muscle fibre recruitment during exercise, you should eat a wholesome meal 60 to 90 minutes prior to exercising. This leads to a larger after-burn (more calories burned after exercise), and you reach your goals more quickly [3].
2. Lemon water with black salt and saffron
As a mid-afternoon pick-me-up drink (a few hours after lunch), Kareena Kapoor drinks nimbu pani with kala namak, sugar, kesar and ginger. Kesar works wonders for your hair and skin, while ginger and kala namak leave you feeling light and prevent you from bloating during hectic working hours [4].

3. A soul-soothing dinner
A typical dinner for Kareena Kapoor Khan is a dal-chawal-ghee, khichdi-dahi, doodhi sabzi, and jowar roti with ghee. An early and wholesome dinner ensures good, restorative sleep that helps the hormones stay in a state of balance. It also has an anti-ageing effect on the body [5].
Healthy Diet For Women Over 40
As you enter your 40s, your diet becomes even more important. Women require protein (meat, fish, dairy, beans, and nuts), carbohydrates (whole grains), fats (healthy oils), vitamins, minerals, and water. A number of diseases are prevented by these foods, including osteoporosis, high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, and certain types of cancer [6].
- Include a variety of vegetables, such as dark green, red, and orange, beans and peas, and starchy and non-starchy vegetables.
- Make sure you eat a variety of fruits.
- Aim to consume at least half of your grains as whole grains on a daily basis.
- Choose dairy products that are fat-free or low-fat, such as milk, yoghurt, cheese, or fortified soy products.
- Every meal should contain protein. Healthy sources of protein include lean meat (chicken), seafood, eggs, beans, peas, nuts, seeds, and soy products.
- You should use healthy oils, such as olive oil.

Furthermore, women should consume the following foods:
- It is recommended that you consume less than 10% of your daily calories from added sugars (desserts and processed foods).
- A daily calorie intake of less than 10% of saturated fats (red meat, dairy products high in fat) is recommended.
- No more than 2,300 milligrams (mg) of sodium per day.
- Alcohol should not be consumed more than once a day.
- A diet rich in calcium, fibre, potassium, and vitamins A and C is recommended.
