So how can we acquire strong, toned and sexy legs? If you are one among this group then today in this article we will be discussing a few of the exercises that help to tone the legs.

These exercises are very easy and for this you need not hit the gym. The exercises can be done at home with not much of a hassle.
Here is a list of easy leg exercises that help to tone the legs efficiently. Take a look.

1. Leg Lift:
This is in fact one of the most common and easiest exercises that can help to tone the legs. All that you need to do is lie on the ground, slowly lift the legs so as to form a 90 degree angle, be there for a few seconds in the position and then lower the legs. Do this about 15-20 times a day.

2. Swimming:
Experts suggest that swimming is one of the best exercises to keep you healthy. It is also one of the best exercises to tone your muscles and trim down the legs.

3. Squats:
Yet another best form of exercise to tone the legs is to squat, specifically the two-thirds jump squats. Stand with your feet wide apart and arms on either side. Come down to a squatting position just about two-third down. Jump up with your hands facing right up towards the ceiling. Do this about 15 times.

4. Cycling:
When you cycle, pressure is applied on your leg muscles. It thus helps to tone the legs as well as the hamstrings and the abdomen too.

5. Walking:
A minimum of half an hour of walk every day not just helps to keep you healthy but also helps in toning your legs.

6. Ins And Outs:
This is one of the most common exercises that help in toning the legs. For this you need to stand with your feet together. As you jump in and out, the knees needs to be bent a little and the arms swinging along with the feet.

7. Walking Bridge:
For this bridge exercise you need to lie down on the floor with your face facing up and your arms and hands lying flat on either side. Bend your knees with your feet flat on the floor. Slowly lift your hips and while maintaining this position, lift your one leg up and bring it down. Do this alternatively with either leg for about 20-30 times.
