Wrong Dieting: How It Can Be Fatal
Nowadays, people are trying their best to look thin and they are ready to give their eye and tooth for it. In order to lose weight, they are following certain procedures which are definitely making them thin, but are also affecting their bodies in all the wrong ways. Diets can range from being less dangerous to the most dangerous, many of them are just absurd. One of these is the paleolithic diet. It is also known as the stone age diet, the cave man diet or the hunter gatherer diet. The paleolithic diet is based on the diet on which people survived before agriculture existed: wild meat, fish, nuts, vegetables and fruits.

The risk involved with this diet is that the person misses out on the essential nutrients provided by whole grains, legumes and dairy products. It leads to inadequate calcium intake which can cause various diseases.
The baby food diet advocates the intake of tiny portions of pureed food fourteen times each day. This diet falls short of the fibre intake that you require everyday and it can become boring taking pureed food everyday. This can lead to withdrawal symptoms.

Apple cider vinegar is claimed to improve metabolic process and reduce appetite and hence decrease weight in the long run. Followers are expected to take one to three tablespoons before every meal or snack. The danger associated with this is that apple cider vinegar is extremely acidic and might irritate your throat when taken repeatedly.

The lemonade diet or the maple syrup diet involves the intake of a concoction of lemon juice, maple syrup and red cayenne pepper along with water for ten to forty days. The danger of this diet is that it can lead to dangerous levels of blood sugar, vitamin deficiencies and lack of muscle tissues.

As per the cabbage soup diet, an extreme weight reduction regime, for seven days you have to consume bowl after bowl, unlimited quantities of cabbage soup. This does lead to weight loss but it also causes mineral and vitamin deficiencies, which can not only lead to ill health, but also affect the appearance of your hair, nails and skin.
