When it comes to food, Deepika is very strict and keeps a control on her diet regime. A fresh healthy diet, minus junk, spicy and oily foods is what she prefers. Along with her daily exercise regime which she is very strict about, keeping a check on the food that she eats has been her major mantra to keep slim and fit.
Here is a list of Deepika's daily food routine. Take a look.

#1. Breakfast:
Breakfast is considered to be the most important meal of the day as it gives the needed energy to get going with the day's work. For Deepika breakfast mainly comprises of upma, idli or dosa along with two eggs and a glass of low fat milk.

#2. Lunch:
For Deepika varieties of fresh vegetables need to be a must have for lunch. Along with this two chapattis and grilled fish are what comprises her lunch.

#3. Snacks:
A bit of nuts and a cup of filter coffee is all that Deepika takes in for snacks in the evening.

#4. Dinner:
Having light dinner is what Deepika generally prefers. Dinner for her mainly consists of chapattis, green veggies and fresh salads.

When it comes to fruits, seasonal fresh fruits like mangoes and grapes are among the most preferred. Also, natural fresh fruits and coconut water are what she drinks everyday at regular intervals. Having non-veg at night is a strict 'no' for Deepika.
All these are what helps Deepika to remain slim and trim and at the same time healthy and fit.
