These days, obesity is seen in many teenagers. Adolescents have an improper diet and mostly feed on junk food. Besides, social networking sites and the Internet have made them couch potatoes. Running
When you are just a teenager, you are still too young for your metabolic rate to be slow. So mild exercises like walking and jogging will not help you. You have to run, rather sprint every day. Bring up your fitness to a level where you can run for 3-4 kms every day. Running is one of the best cardio exercises and it will burn calories.
Cycling
When you are young, your back is strong and you don't have balance issues. High speed cycling is a great cardio exercise for you. You will not only lose weight, but also tone your leg muscles. Cycling also works on your abdominal muscles.
Aerobic Exercises
You need to concentrate on aerobic exercises because your body needs it. Try joining an aerobic dance or power yoga class that really makes you sweat. Dancing is one of the best exercises for weight loss.
Play A Sport
When you are a teenager, exercise should be part of your daily schedule; don't make it a task or else you will get bored. Play tennis or join your school football team. Playing sport speeds up weight loss in teenagers.
