Misconceptions About Workout
We always think that if we want to lose weight, we certainly have to hit the gym. Well, workout has been associated with many misconceptions. For example, a person thinks that to lose weight, he/she only needs to workout. You workout not just to lose weight but to stay active and fit.
If you have fallen a victim to such myths about working out, then don't feel low. There are many people who are still following several misconceptions about workout. Check out the common myths that are associated with workout.

I am not fat so, I need not go to gym
This is a common myth that has pre-occupied the minds of many people. Well, you do not hit the gym to lose weight. You workout to increase body's flexibility, improve blood circulation and stay fit.
Heavier weight are better
This is another misconception about workouts. If you want to build your body and get some mass, then go for heavy weightlifting. Otherwise, stick to lighter weights. Moreover, if you want to lift heavy weights, you should not directly start lifting heavy dumbbells. Commence with lighter weights and once your body muscles get used to weight, slowly increase the weight of your dumbbells.
Workouts are so boring
Your body is constantly rubbing, your heartbeat is high and you think you are getting bored? Well, when you workout, your adrenaline rush can never make you feel bored. So, get over this misconception. If you feel bored, listen to some loud music to boost up your dull mood. Behavioural changes can help you get over this misconception and such lazy attitude.
Workout damages the uterus of women
Workout doesn't damage the uterus or prevent thew woman from getting pregnant. Body lifting can not stop a woman from becoming pregnant (unless she lifts it properly and under guidance).
Quitting leads to weight gain
If you stop working out, your body becomes flexible enough to regain weight. So, a proper diet can help you overcome this misconception. Even if you do not workout, make sure you follow your diet. You can break this myth if you eat healthy!
These are few myths that are associated with workouts. Do you have more to add to the list?
