Indoor Exercises For Monsoon

Most of you are motivated to lose weight. But the weather in monsoon can be a big hurdle to it. The rains may prevent you from going outside for a jog or run. But, there is nothing to worry as there are some easy indoor exercises. You do not necessarily need a gym for exercising at home. A healthy eating habit and some easy exercises can keep you fit and healthy. Here are some indoor exercises that you can do to stay in good shape during the monsoons.

Jump Rope- Jump rope is one of the finest of all indoor exercises. Start from a minimum of twenty five to a hundred. If you think that it's a child's game, then you are fairly wrong. This is a very good exercise for all the muscles of your body and the heart.

Stairs- In a habit of going out for jogging? There is no need to be upset if you could not due to rain. Use the stairs in your home for the same. Climb up and down the stairs as many times as you can. This is one of the easy exercises and is great for the body muscles. And in case you do not have stairs at your home just keep walking around the terrace as many times as you can.

Dancing- Dancing is both fun and also an easy way to lose weight. Turn on some music at home and dance to its beats. This is an excellent idea to burn calories and at the same time keep the heart in good health.

Pushups- Pushups is another one of the indoor exercises to remain healthy in a relatively easy manner. Lie with your stomach on the floor. Now push up with only your palms and toes touching the ground. Try doing as many as you can in a minute or two. This exercise is extremely good to increase the strength of your limbs and bring them in shape.

Handstand- Handstand is one of those indoor exercises that improves blood circulation and digestion apart from strengthening your muscles. Stand near the wall and put your hands on the floor. Now, slowly raise your legs in the air and try to stay balanced in this position for at least a minute. If you are a beginner then do not try it without the support of the wall. Or else you might end up in hurting yourself if you lose balance.

Lifting Small Weights- Lift relatively light weight dumbbells as an arm, shoulder and back strengthening exercise. Take equal weights in both the hands and lift them alternatively. If you do not have dumbbells then there is nothing to worry. For you can use filled water bottles for the same purpose.

Follow all of these indoor exercises to keep up your fitness level even in the monsoons.
