1. Everytime you are halfway through your meal try to scale your hunger levels and divide the remaining food accordingly. This way it cuts down your food intake and keeps you aware of the amount you regularly eat.
2. Sometimes it is good to skip meals so try skipping one meal on a busy day or at least delay by a few hours. You will see no change in your body metabolism as the excess fat is utilized by the body.
3. When hungry, avoid junk or other fatty foods instead hog some nuts or fresh fruits so that it tides you over your next meal.
