To include energy foods in your diet all you need to do is plan well. Here are some health tips for men to have a diet that will keep them active throughout the day.

1. Breakfast: Your breakfast is the most important meal of the day and it should be wholesome; that part is done to death but the important point here is to make sure it gives you energy instead of just fats.
- A high energy meal in the morning must contain milk or bananas; both if you can stomach it. Banana is a very vital high energy food because it gives you instant energy. There is fibre and lots of iron to go with it.
- Oats are also a very good way of getting lasting energy throughout they day. It keeps your stomach full for a long time as it digests slowly.
- Almonds and other dry fruits like pistachios will keep the shine on your cheeks all day long.
2. Lunch: Lunch should ideally be light because you would be working post lunch but that doesn't mean that high energy foods in your diet have to be compromised.
- Go for a lentils salad because they are rich in proteins. Men require more proteins than woman for their body constitution.
- Yogurt is a good option to round of your lunch because it contains magnesium. Magnesium is a great energy booster as it helps release special enzymes to increase the metabolism rate. This produces more energy in the body. Choose a solid low fat yogurt to go with your salads and steak.
- Drinking lots of water, especially during the day can often be the best way to boost energy. If your body is hydrated then you automatically feel more energetic.
